Gale Literature Resource Center
"Literature Resource Center provides access to biographies, bibliographies, and critical analyses of authors from every age and literary discipline. Combining Gale Group's core literary databases in a single online service, the Literature Resource Center covers more than 120,000 novelists, poets, essayists, journalists, and other writers, with in-depth coverage of 2,500 of the most-studied authors." Now part of the SLS Virtual Reference Collection, you must use the appropriate user name and password.
Gale Student Resources in Context

School Library System Virtual Reference Collection*
This site will provide you with a number of excellent databases to assist you with your research. Includes "World Book Online", "Culture Grams", "ProQuest", "Science Online", "SIRS Researcher", and "Wilson Biographies Plus Illustrated" and "Newsday". You will also be able to access the NOVEL databases through the VRC. NOVEL databases are provided by the New York State Library.
